The Party "Where Pets Bring their People" features a Pet Adopt-A-Thon with 40 Shelter/Rescue groups offering over 400 adoptable pets, a Pet Health Watch area, FREE Pet Costume Contest with amazing prizes, Pet Marketplace, Delicious Local Cuisine, Great Music and much more. Over 20,000 attendees along with thousands of their pets came to the event and hundreds of adoptive pets have found their forever home at Pet Fest.
Looking to adopt a new family pet? Pet Fest is the perfect place to adopt with hundreds of homeless animals will be searching for their forever homes. In addition, the Pet Marketplace will house vendors offering the latest in pet nutrition and pet supplies from dozens of local business and our amazing sponsor Science Diet.
Over 25,000 people attended Pet Fest 2017 and all proceeds raised from Pet Fest go to Jefferson SPCA to support and assist the Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services.
Pet Fest is a combined effort by Jefferson SPCA, Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services (formerly Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter), Jefferson Parish, and the City of Kenner.
